Volunteer Opportunities:
- Serve as a mentor to individuals from diverse backgrounds and circumstances
- Provide guidance and support in personal and professional development
- Meet with mentees regularly (in-person or virtual) to discuss goals, challenges, and progress
- Help mentees develop a personalized development plan
- Provide resources and connections to help mentees achieve their goals
- Help plan and execute community events, workshops, and conferences
- Assist with event promotion, registration, and logistics
- Facilitate workshops or lead discussions on topics such as social justice, sustainability, and community
building - Help evaluate events and provide feedback for improvement
- Assist in developing and implementing curricula for leadership and entrepreneurship programs
- Research and develop modules on social justice, sustainability, and community building
- Help design interactive and engaging learning experiences
- Pilot-test curricula and provide feedback for improvement
- Help develop and implement marketing and communications strategies
- Assist with social media management (content creation, posting, engagement)
- Write and edit blog posts, newsletters, and other communications materials
- Help design marketing materials (flyers, brochures, etc.)
- Research grant opportunities and assist with grant writing
- Help develop fundraising campaigns and events
- Assist with donor relations and stewardship
- Help identify and pursue new funding sources
- Help build relationships with community organizations, businesses, and individuals
- Assist with outreach and engagement efforts (email, phone, in-person)
- Help identify and pursue new partnership opportunities
- Assist with community needs assessments and asset mapping
- Provide administrative support (data entry, email management, office organization)
- Assist with record-keeping and database management
- Help with special projects and tasks as needed
- Assist with researching innovative solutions to social and environmental issues
- Help develop new programs and services to address these issues
- Assist with program evaluation and improvement
- Manage social media platforms (content creation, posting, engagement)
- Help develop social media strategy and content calendar
- Assist with social media analytics and reporting
- Research grant opportunities and assist with grant writing
- Help develop grant proposals and reports
- Assist with grant management and compliance
- Provide one-on-one support and guidance to individuals struggling with mental health issues
- Facilitate support groups and discussions
- Connect individuals with mental health resources and services
- Develop and distribute health-related resources (brochures, flyers, social media content)
- Assist with health workshops and presentations
- Provide health information and resources to individuals and communities
